The article focuses on an individual experience of research and teaching Brazilian history. It argues the pertinence of a theoretical study based in three issues: historical logic, agents and creation. Over the last three decades, the approach of these themes renewed History and pointed it as a relevant knowledge in face of contemporary challenges.Downloads
